NextPull in your game

The website works on its own from Battle.net and Warcraft Logs. Two small extras add what those can't see: an in-game addon and a desktop app. Both are optional, free, and only ever read - they never press anything for you.

In-game addon available

  • Your week, every character: Great Vault progress, keystone, raid lockouts, crests and currencies - the Weekly page.
  • Exact gear and bags: keeps your /simc export current (Top Gear sees your bags and Great Vault) and your potions (macros use the exact one you carry).
  • An in-game panel (/coach): "Next up" for the week - vault slots left, your keystone, crests to cap, consumables running low - plus anything you added to your plan on the site.
  • Ready check helper: says what you're missing (flask, food, weapon oil, rune) and turns combat logging on in raids and dungeons (it leaves that to your logging addon if you use one).
  • WoW Forever: your levelling - quests, zone, gear, gold, auction prices you've seen - for the Forever pages.
Download the addon (v0.2.0) CurseForge & Wago: coming soon

Install

  1. Unzip it: you get a folder called WoWCoach.
  2. Move that folder into World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns (and into _forever_/Interface/AddOns too if you play WoW Forever).
  3. Start WoW (or type /reload) and make sure NextPull is ticked in the AddOns list on the character screen.

In game: /coach opens the panel, /coach sync saves your latest state, /coach ready runs the ready-check helper. The data reaches the site through the desktop app.

Desktop app coming soon

  • Pull reviews within a minute: it watches your combat log while you raid - every boss pull shows up on the site with what killed you, what to fix next pull and how you compare with top players.
  • Keeps the site current: uploads the addon's data when you log out or /reload, so Weekly and Forever are always this week's.
  • Your plan, in game: items you add to your plan on the site appear in the in-game panel.
  • Sits quietly in your menu bar (Mac) or system tray (Windows); nothing to open while you play.
macOS - coming soon Windows - coming soon

Connect it to your account

  1. On your Account page, press Make a sync token (one per computer).
  2. In the app's menu, choose Connect to NextPull… and paste the token.

Turn on Advanced Combat Logging in WoW (Options → Network) for full pull reviews.

Without either

Signing in with Battle.net is enough for your character page (gear, stats and talents vs top players), sims from a /simc paste, raid reviews and comparisons from Warcraft Logs, the Boss playbook, macros and your guild's page. The addon and app add the Weekly page, WoW Forever, pull reviews from your own combat log and the in-game panel.

Questions

Is it allowed?
The addon uses WoW's normal addon interface and only records what you see, like other logging addons; it never automates anything. The desktop app only reads files the game writes (your combat log and the addon's saved data) - it never touches the game itself.
Who can see my data?
Only you. Guild members can't see your synced data, sims or plans. Delete my data on your Account page removes all of it.
Do I need both?
No. The addon on its own records everything; the desktop app is what carries it to the site (and adds combat-log reviews).
